The YPHH events in Beijing and Shanghai are a gathering place for people, with a focus on business networking.
Outside of that environment it seems very difficult for many to find who or what they are looking for. Some suggested a YPHH forum, but we didn't want the administrational headache — on top of that forums often attract a different crowd.
YPHH Connect is the perfect solution; it's a joint-venture with a company based in Hong Kong and Tokyo which operates online communities in Asia, centering on the themes of Language Exchange, Language Learning and Friend Finding. The service isn't exclusive to Asians; anyone can join to meet people far and wide, or in their own city.
